The Watch Museum history start 35 yeas ago when António Tavares d ’Almeida, the main activity leader, received by inheritance from his grandfather three damaged pocket watches.
Since then this collector have been searching for watchs and cloks all around the world, with the goal of restoring and the increase of the collection. In the last years, almost 300 damaged watches and clocks were donated to the Museum that with the co-operation of its Watch Masters they are repaired and uncovered to all the public that visit the Watch Museum.
António Tavares d ’Almeida keep giving his entire dedication and love to the Museum, trying to give vitality not only to its watches but to the ones that are donated as well, that in syntony already drew a large public to the Museum.
