In the Watch Museum there are patent 1.800 pieces, all of them mechanical, dated since XVII century, where the visitants will found different types of pocket and wristwatches, but also hundreds of clocks. One of the rooms is dedicated to the Portuguese Clock.
Stated on Convento do Mosteirinho, one Manueline convent style, relating to King Manuel I, the Watch Museum take place on ten of its rooms, all of them with the famous large brick floor from Alentejo in contrast with the white walls and the white of the acoustic vaults. The Museum also has a small garden, one bar and one library with more then 500 thematic books.
